Everybody knows that children spend a considerable part of their childhood at school. It’s here that they acquire knowledge and skills, but what is more – their world view, values and life goals get shaped. “Khabarovsk needs a Christian school” – many people in our city believe.

Christian values are loosing their meaning in modern society. That’s why we decided to start a Christian Comprehensive School in Khabarovsk. The school was founded in 2006 and there were only a few first-graders that year. In 2010-2011 the students from the first through the fourth grade are going to study here.

Teaching-Learning Process

Teaching is based on “School 2100” programme. We have classes five days a week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. After each term our students get academic progress assessment in public school. Christian world view of our students gets shaped not only through studies but also through after class activities that help the kids widen their outlook

Spiritual Development Process

Every day at school starts with “Prayer Parade”. It takes different forms: we invite church elders, missionaries, evangelists, musicians who come to share the Word of God and help the kids see it as guidance for everyday life.

In the course of the school year people of different ages and professions from different countries came to school as our guests. God uses their experiences to teach the kids be bold visionaries.

In the teaching –learning process there’s always a room for the events promoting love for our Motherland, respect for the history and culture of our own people and care for everything that God has entrusted to us.

Every year our students’ works are presented at the city and international displays. This year they were displayed at “Talents of the Young – to Our Beloved City” devoted to the 152 anniversary of Khabarovsk and at “We Are the Children of the Same Planet”.

Teachers

We believe that it’s not the ideas but people that make a Christian School! That’s why only Christians teach at our school. These people love God and their profession they work hard to make it possible for every student to reach one’s potential.

School and Family

We see the success in our work only through close cooperation with the family and one of our guidelines is Interaction Principle! There is a Parents Committee at our school to assist the teachers in making the school activities enjoyable, fruitful and successful.

Fun Sports for the Families

In 2008 our school became a member of ACSI – Association of Christian Schools International, the biggest one in the world. The Association was founded in 1978. At present the Association holds 5 390 Christian schools teaching 1 227 840 children in more than 100 countries.

This year our students participated in “Gifts Festival” for the students of Christian schools. It was organized by ACSI and was held in Kiev in May. The kids competed in 6 nominations: academic, sports, music, arts, theater, IT. It was an unforgettable experience for our students, they got prizes in different nominations. As a special bonus they went sightseeing in Kiev and in Moscow.
